Christening gown of Annie Norah (Hatfield) Craig (1902-1998). May have come from England with Annie Norah Craig who imigrated to Canada in 1904.It was the Hatfield family christening gown. Mrs Craig came to Terrace in April of 1945 and lived with Stuart William Craig on a farm on the far end of Brauns Island. They had 6 children who were 4,6,8,10,11 and 13 when they arrived. 5 of the 6 started school in september. They walked to the Terrace High school which was on Highway 17 near the train tracks. The younger children were then taken by taxi to their school. All the children graduated from High school and went south for further training except Bob who stayed to work in the Royal Bank where Mr McConnell was the manager. Mr Craig worked in the Pole yard of Little Haugland and Kerr as well as running a mixed farm on Brauns Island. Mr and Mrs Craig left Terrace in 1977 to retire in White Rock BC. Mr Craig died in 1996 at the age of 92 and Mrs Craig died in 1998 at the age of 96
