Used by Mechanics to re seat valves using a special grinding compound. These were mostly during the 1920s to 1940s but are still used by mechanics who do repairs in remote areas. This valve grinder was used by Christina Dirion in Prince Rupert where she did car repairs during the late 1930s to mid 1940s. A part of the handle has been broken off.
