Description

A- Circular shaped hat with a flat top and nub. nub holds in place a purple and white rope tassel. The Inside of the hat has a green top and a pleather rim lining. There is a stretchy black chin strap attached to the lining. A white tag with black printing says ' union label ediquitte syndicate, Canada Medium' There is a frayed rope bow on the inside rim. The top of the hat has a hat pin and the side has a brooch as well as a crystal link that holds the tassel in place B- Top of the hat has a purple and white rope tassel secured in place by a crystal chain. C- The side of the has has a gold diamond shaped brooch, the backing is a pin, The sides of the brooch have crystals and the inside has an elk which has two purple crystals for eyes D- the top of the hat has a hat pin with a white opalescent end

Use

This hat was used in the 'Order of the Royal Purple' which was a Terrace group for women. The order received the charter April 27th 1958 and gave it up in June 10 2019 to join the elks lodge #425
