Description

Wooden gavel. Handle is one wooden piece win an indent around the end and bumps closer to the head. The head of the gavel has two large indents on either end. One end of the head has a gold Stamp which shows an elk, a clock and 'Canada' inside a double bordered diamond shape. Around the center of the head is a bronze colored metal piece which is inscribed "Terrace Lodge #216 50th Anniversary - October 2007 From Supreme Lodge"

Use

This gavel was used in the 'Order of the Royal Purple' which was a Terrace group for women. The order received the charter April 27th 1958 and gave it up in June 10 2019 to join the elks lodge #425
