Description

Dark blue cover. Rectangle embossing on the front around the edges with two circles (the earth?) in the middle. Spine has square gold detailing with decorative scrolls and squiggles in the middle. There is 1 gold square; a red square with gold writing that says "World's Popular Encyclopaedia" 2 gold squares; a red square with gold writing that says " Vol 5 ENG-CLO"; 1 gold square. The pages are a cream colour (aged paper). The Encyclopaedias were printed in 1937 by The World Syndicate Publishing Co. in Cleveland Ohio. There is black type with black and white illustrations.
