Description

The Carding machine appears to be hand made. The base of the carding machine is made of wood, and held together with nuts and bolts. The base is holding two wooden wheels that have been covered with metal spikes. There is a large and a small wheel that would card the wool. There is a crank on the right side of the machine. That will turn the wheels. Beside the smaller wheel there is a metal shoot for the wool to collect in. There is a thin piece of wood nailed on the bottom of the carding machine. It is only attached to one of the bottom legs and is able to turn.
