Use

Violin built by George Hunter in Rosswood circa 1939. George's son Vern remembers his father building the violin out of two pieces of spruce for the top, one piece of birch for the back and the neck from hard wood (Vern thinks that this would likely be oak). From moisture in the home and then in its display case in the Kalum Lake Hotel, the glue would seperate. Vern said that if wed had the epoxies we have now the glue would have remained fixed. He was a self taught carver, painter and violinist.
