This work was transcribed from records of the British Admiralty pertaining to American prisoners of the war held at the internment facility at Quebec, Lower Canada, during the War of 1812. Those interned included 1,834 American soldiers, sailors, marines, privateers, and civilians. The contents include alphabetical listing of names; numeric listings by prison number; crew listing by U.S. Ship; soldiers listing by battle; and U.S. Marines and civilians. Transcribed by Eric Johnson in memory of Harrison Baker for the Society of the War of 1812 in the State of Ohio.
