This is the fourth in a series of annual reports that describe the ongoing archeological excavations in Fort Edward, a small town on the Hudson River in Washington County, NY. In the eighteenth century, this was the site of one of the largest military encampments in the American colonies, and British forces used this as a vast supply base and hospital complex during their wars with the French in the north.
