Description

This teapot was a gift from Ernest Tilford. It had belong to Mr. Alvah Tilford and his wife, Jane Dobbin Tilford, who married in 1848. He died in 1904, she in 1908. Their family home was in the "Coot Hill" section of North Argyle. They had three children: Helen, Charles, and William. Light blue and white design of house with village in background, reflected in a lake. Trees to the right. (On both sides). Small chip in lid. 9 1/2" tall. Inscription in oval on bottom: "Ironstone, Friburg," and underneath "Davenport". Located in storeroom.
