You are summoned to answer the complaints of Jonas C Hewitt (?) fore [unknown] [unknown] [unknown] of Amanda B. Sherman + Frederick A Gale. Plaintiffs
Which will be filed in the Clerks office of the county of Washington, and to serve @ copy of your answer on us at our office the Town of Greenwich, Washington County New York within twenty days after the Service hereof. Exclusive of the day of Service and if you fail to answer said complaint as [unknown] required the Plaintiffs will apply to the Supreme Court at a Special term thereof appointed [unknown] held at the Courthouse in Salem and for the said County (crossed out- “of Washington”) on the third Monday of October next for the relief demanded in said Complaint.
