Six photographs of 95 East Bay (Othniel Beale House), likely taken by the owners before they undertook the restoration of the house: a: Front (east) elevation showing partial views of its neighbors 93 East Bay and 97 East Bay. Signage for "[Fre]sh Peanuts Daily" over the doorway and "Dotterer Engineering" in the window. Written on back: "Street view. Note adjacent house, 97 East Bay, had been restored, about mid-thirties, by the Dunhams(?)." b: Rear (west) elevation seen in disrepair. Shows the rear entrance, broken and missing windows, and crumbled brick on the ground in front. Written on back: "Rear view, from patio garden. Note outside stress now gone and most of high walls torn down." c: Identified as the second floor hall seen in disrepair. Features the staircase and a doorway. Written on back: "Second floor hall, note additional outside entrance from first floor. Now filled in with a window." d: Identified as the study seen in disrepair. Features bricked-in fireplace and mantel, and panel doors on either side. Written on back of photo: "Study. Some of the original panel doors remain." e: Identified as the front drawing room, seen in disrepair. Features the fireplace, mantel, and door. Written on back of photo: "Front (Drawing) room. Written on back of photo: "Front (Drawing) room. Door opening into the study was filled in during 1939 renovation. The mantle was moved to the house behind 91 E. Bay, which was restored by Mrs. Paul Hyde Bonner for her mother. Mrs. Bonner was Mrs. Elizabeth McGowan at the time."
