Caption on back: "The majestic avenue of oaks, planted at Boone Hall in 1743 by Captain Thomas Boone, is one of the most breathtaking in the south. On one side of the avenue are nine pre-Revolutionary slave cabins, built of brick made on the plantation. Boone Hall is open to the public throughout the year."
