Powder Magazine to Carteret's Bastion, one of the two oldest structures in Charleston S.C. standing on the south side of Cumberland Street between Meeting and Church Streets. Built before the Revolution of 1719. Owned by purchase after the Revolution of 76 by U.S. Senator Ralph Izard. Owned now by his great-grandson G.E. Manigault M.D. Taken for Society of Colonial Dames of America. New York City Nov. 1898.
