a: Features a two-story wood-sided building with "Arthur P. Cohen Auctioneer and Real Estate" painted on front (53 State Street) and neighboring buildings on either side. A round sign for "Red Stables" projects from the adjacent building at right.
b: Features a view looking southeast from the three-story brick building with a sign for "Little Italy Inn" (55 State Street). Across the street on Cumberland Street is a one-story stable building with "Horses and Mules" painted on the front of the building and a round sign for "Red Stables" projecting from the corner of the building. St. Philip's Church steeple in background.
The Little Italy was located at the northwest corner of State and Cumberland Streets. The Red Stables building was located at the southwest corner of State and Cumberland Streets.
