A late Victorian house originally stood to the south of 75 Anson Street (pictured here). It was razed in the late 1960s and the lot was restored. Today the property known as 73 Anson Street consists of the outbuildings of 75 Anson Street, which have been converted to condominiums (Poston, Buildings of Charleston).
Three files contain: documentation of the covenant on the property; documentation related to the sale of the property; documents related to the Anson Property Regime; annual inspection reports; requests for alterations; architectural drawings; sketches; documentation related to the management of the property; historical/research information; photocopy of 1943 plat and undated "plot plan"; copy of correspondence between Ellen Holmes and Miss Legare about Legare family (1923) (source of original not indicated); copy of HCF easement information card (TMS number, year of construction, significant resident(s), deed research, deed restrictions, measurements, and tax information); documentation of HCF's purchase of the property.
