Two B&W photographs of the view looking north on King Street from the corner of Wentworth Street to the Francis Marion Hotel. Almost the same view but taken approximately twenty years apart. Buildings on the west side of the street are more prominent than the east side. In both photographs there is pedestrian activity and vehicles on the street.
East side buildings: 274-276 King (South Carolina Power Company).
West side buildings: 275 King (Dime Bank & Trust / Lerner Shops), 282 King (Kress Building), and beyond to the Francis Marion Hotel.Collection
