Condition: Suffering from a poor restoration job. Painting has structural problems and varnish should be more matte. Lifting and crazing is from lack of climate control.

The painting is in fair condition and appears stable. The canvas was lined in a previous treatment. Damage Information: There is a pronounced network of craquelure throughout the work. The edges of the cracks have begun to cup, and it is possible that the lining was done to address this problem. The paint layer, though secure, still shows pronounced cuppint. The surface is coated with grime and the varnish no longer saturated the paint layer. there are several small scratches in the upper section that require touch up. The painting has no backing board and there is dust and debris on the verso.
