The building which had stood at 94-96 Broad Street had housed real estate offices on its first floor and apartments upstairs. It was torn down in the mid-1960s. The building previously located at 8 Courthouse Square was relocated to this site. (No other historical information on file.)
Two files. Folder 1 contains newspaper article about new building addition (2005); BAR application (2004) with architectural drawings for 96 Broad Street; conceptual drawings, maps, plats; Rosen and Associates (engineers) inspection report (2009).
File 2 contains correspondence and other documentation regarding the HCF's opposition to a requested height variance, construction, etc.; newspaper articles (1984, 1989) about the controversy over the height ordinance issues; photocopy of the height ordinance.
