BULL.008.001Scope and Content
Constructed 1907. One of four identical 2½-story wood houses with front porches and pedimented entries built by E.M. Hacker as an investment in the early-20th century. These very simple late-Queen Anne houses boast little decoration save their porches and secondary gables projecting from the principal roof gables and incorporating polygonal bays on the first floor. The row was acquired by the College of Charleston in the 1970s and restored as administrative offices.
