Description

Carved mahogany settee; upholstered backrest with rolled crest rail terminating at each end in descendant scroll carved with long leaves and paterae above out-turned, over-scrolled, upholstered arms carved with conforming sprays of long leaves, the straight upholstered seat above a molded front rail carved with squared paterae at the center and angles and separated by symmetrical long-leaf sprays joined by clasps of foliage, all raised on paw feet headed by stylized fruit-filled cornucopia.
