Original construction ca. 1865; doubled in length ca. 1890 for use as a duplex. An example of a frame single house of the late 19th century, one of several houses built on lots that were originally considered part of Bennett's Mill Pond. Two-story wood-frame with a two-tier piazza. Alterations have generally been limited to the lower piazza and the rear of the building. (Source: Historic Preservation Certification Application)
