Wooden pediment with compo ornaments including floral arches, fans, tassels, and other floral motifs. A line of bead-work runs above the tassel decoration separating the stacked entablature from the decorated lower portion of the pediment. Finished in a deep brown paint with applied decoration a lighter brown color. May have originated from the Manigault House.
Paint is in fair condition with some areas of paint loss.
Item appears to relate to MSHP Object#2011.06.254 in the decorative elements and paint finishes.
Exhibit location (as of summer 2017): Cigar Factory, CDCC, situated on the east wall of the MSHP First Year Studio hallway.Collection
