33 Church Street (Peter Tamplet House)Entry/Object ID
CHURCH.033.1Scope and Content
Constructed before 1790; altered before 1920. This simple weatherboarded, 2-story single house retains its original beaded siding on the piazza elevation. After a fire in the early 1900s a third story was removed, and several additional changes have been made to the structure. The form of this house bears an interesting relationship to the Richard Birnie built a century later at 31 Church in 1887.
