Date of construction uncertain, possibly between 1790-1820. Two-story center hall design with a stucco over brick exterior. Rectangular in design with flat roof. The building has operated as both a business and a dwelling for at least 100 years, possibly longer. The property had several owners including Thomas Folker , Isaac Motte Dart, Francis Police, and Daniel Huger.
File contains graduate student report (2006) on the history of the building/property, including chain-of-title and maps; article by J.R. Oldfield on the use of the building by African American attorneys.
