MEETING.328.2Description
View from across Marion Square of Citadel Square Baptist Church (328 Meeting Street), with its shorter, second steeple. The view through the Square shows vegetation, so presumably the photograph was taken after the Citadel campus was relocated in the 1920s. (The first steeple toppled in the Hurricane of 1885 and this shorter one replaced it. Hurricane Hugo took this one, and it was then replaced with one that was closer to the original [224 feet].)Collection
