Admin or Biographical History: Acquisition by HCF is not documented; however, originals were possibly given to HCF by Loutrel Briggs, a founding Trustee. Most of the other drawings for which there are photocopies were presumably obtained from the SC Historical Society.

Notes: Briggs identifes the address only as "Tradd Street." Ely is identified at 43 Tradd Street in a 1934 City Directory. (Ely doesn't show up in 1930-1932 City Directories.)
