CHURCH.GEN.3Description
Photographic reprint of an engraved illustration of McKensie Saddler / Saddlery and Coach Harness Manufactory. The location of the building has not been confirmed. The actual engraving* has "No. 135 Church Street Charleston" at the bottom; however, the 1852 City Directory lists them at the corner of Church and Chalmers Streets. The number "39" is painted prominently on both the east and north facades. The building directly to the south is present and may provide a key to determining the location of the building, now obviously gone.
