Includes: Finding aid for the Charleston Museum's Aiken-Rhett Collection Extensive index to the materials in the Charleston Museum's Aiken-Rhett Collection created by HCF staff member Carrie Albee in 1999, with major contributions by Sarah Lytle in 2001. Revised Charleston Museum Finding Aid to AR Collection compiled by Jane Aldrich. Research notes by HCF intern Amy Gregg (2003) which includes an annotated bibliography of Harriet Lowndes Aiken papers with transcriptions of correspondence, a summary of Singleton Family Papers at South Caroliniana Library related to the Aiken-Rhett family (Mattie Singleton corresponded with Harriet Aiken Rhett), and a report of the materials Ms. Gregg discovered at Charleston Museum and South Caroliniana Library. Brief summary of the research conducted by historian Karen Nickless in April 2003, including Charleston Museum records, newspapers, and other institutions' collections.
