Scope and Content

In 1974, this property at the corner of Wentworth and East Bay, was a vacant lot for sale by HCF, which would have control over the design of any building erected; a two-story building zoned for business was required. (Source: 6/26/1974 memo from FRE to Hugh Lane, Ansonborough Property Sales File.) No history on file. Needs further research. Three files contain documentation of the covenant on the property; correspondence and other documentation relating to the covenant and the sale of the property; annual inspection reports; requests for alterations; correspondence and other documentation related to the management of the property; documentation of HCF's purchase and sale of the property; photograph with documents regarding proposed use of lot as a neighborhood park; copy of HCF covenant information card; chain-of-title research notes; Sanborn Maps (1884, 1902, 1944). See Covenant/Easement Inspection Photo Files for inspection photography.
