From the 1970s through 1997, the building housed M S.C. Post 525 Club, Phase I Club, Traxx of Charleston (club), and Charleston Laundry and Dry Cleaners. (Source: Old Codgers.) The offices of Pratt-Thomas, Gumb & Co. are currently at this address, presumably constructed after the former building was demolished.
No building history on file. Needs further research.
File contains photocopy of photo of Milbrens Laundry; occupancy history from Old Codgers' Charleston Address Book; BAR applications for conceptual approval of new office building (2000) and final approval of new building (2001), including architectural drawings (no indication of approval status).
