Scope and Content

Thought to be built at the turn of the 20th century, the house was was demolished in 1972 for the construction of an apartment building. Historic Charleston Foundation did not oppose the demolition. (News & Courier, 2/10/1972.) No additional house history on file. Needs further research. File contains newpaper articles referencing the demolition of the house and others; photocopy of photograph (ARP photo) (shown here).
