Scope and Content

The house was built after the 1838 fire, a substantial brick house on raised basement and follows the side-hall, double-parlor plan like its near neighbor at 42 Hasell Street. Three files containing documentation on the easement of the property; annual inspection reports; requests for alterations; easement inspection photos; correspondence and other documentation related to the sale of the property; historical/research information; etc. Gift Folder contains original easement document; Part 1 certification application; CoU letter; RoFR documentation/correspondence; Acknowledgment letter; correspondence related to easement donation; Form 3283; Appraisal. Management folder contains Side Letter Agreement. Historical/Miscellaneous File contains FOHG house history (1998); brief house history from Information for Guides of Historic Charleston (1984). Needs further research.
