Three silver gelatin photographs of Market Street, after the September 29, 1938, tornadoes, showing the damage to the Market Sheds and other structures. 1 - Looking east on Market Street. Sheds are in ruins. Damaged car is parked along side of the debris. Old Church of the Reedemer in background. 2 - Looking west on Market Street from East Bay Street, showing market shed ruins and North Market Street buildings. Onlookers and cars are in the street. Partial view of 225 East Bay Street at left. 3 - Onlookers stand by piles of debris on Market Street.
