My Dear Mrs. Rhett
Kate has received your Letter about the hat she expect her french things in day or tow [sic] and will send your bonnet right onn [sic] to you. I am going to leave Kate and look for situation I expect to find it prity [sic] hard as the Ladys [sic] are all leaving the city tha [sic] are so afraid sickness my married sister['s] health is very bad and my sister that is blind depends entirely on me so I do not like at present to go to [sic] far from them in this sicly [sic] times.
I sent you few lines before these peraps [sic] you did not receive them.
Please remember me kindly to Mr. Mrs. Aiken.
