John Miller, who operated a burlesque theater for Blacks on King Street above Columbus, bought the property where the Palace was built, and used the Victoria as a model to build a new theater. No additional building history on file. Needs further research. File contains occupancy history from Old Codgers' Charleston Address Book; theater history from the book Movie Theaters of Charleston.
