General Notes

Note

Notes: This copy is complete; signed by author "With love to Mary Gadsden from Alice R. Huger Smith, June, 1917." This is possibly the copy referred to in a letter from Jon Poston to Joanna Jenkins thanking her for a donation of the "portfolio of engravings of the Miles Brewton House by Alice Ravenel Huger Smith...much better in quality than the set we already hold in our archive collection," dated 10/15/1999 (discovered 5/9/2013). See Media link. The portfolio was never accessioned and cataloged as "found in collection."
