Scope and Content

This house was owned in the mid-19th to early 20th century by two families, the Dobsons and the Ryans, who were undoubtedly responsible for the construction and subsequent alterations to the property. It is a 3-story frame house built in the Charleston single house plan. (Source: FOHG house history) No additional house history on file. Needs further research. File contains FOHG house history (2000); chain-of-title research notes (undated, unattributed); photocopies of portions of deeds/titles (1828, 1914). No photographs on file.
