Scope and Content

Constructed ca. 1836-38. Wood 2½-story Charleston single house, constructed on a high, stuccoed brick foundation in the Greek Revival style. Three files contain documentation of the easement on the property including related correspondence; Part I certification (National Register); easement appraisal (missing page); annual inspection reports, requests for alterations, and correspondence related to the management of the property; narrative history (unattributed, 1986?); historical/chain-of-title research information; Rosen and Associates inspection report (2004); data sheet for CharlestonWISE Impact Project (Sustainability Institute) that includes construction date, square footage, number of stories, building orientation, system materials/types, Sanborn Map research notes, and additions/alterations notes (Mariah Schwartz, 2011).
