Photographs from a page out of a scrapbook that documented a tour or vacation in December 1890, three of which feature Charleston buildings: a: View north on Meeting Street from Tradd Street showing 59 Meeting Street at left and 60 Meeting Street and beyond at right. Shows 60 Meeting Street before it was remodeled to add Victorian features. Captioned "Meeting Street, Tower of St. Michael's in distance. Charleston, S.C." b: View of City Hall from across the street on Broad Street, showing the southeast elevations. One horse-drawn carriage is in front of building and one is stopped by the gate to Washington Square Park. Pedestrians on the sidewalk and crossing the street. A portion of the east elevation of the County Courthouse is at left. Captioned "City Hall, showing earthquake cracks.
