Possibly the oldest house in Charleston. Certain characteristics of the house lead some authorities to speculate that it is a 17th century plantation house that has somehow survived. Built on a high basement. Floor plan is 3 rooms in a row, with no stair hall, similar to that of Middleburg.
Needs further research.
