Description

Architectural Forum conducted in recognition of Historic Charleston Foundation's 50th anniversary. This tape features Carter Hudgins, former Executive Director of Historic Charleston Foundation, presenting the Stoney Craftsmanship Award to Herbert DeCosta; the Robert N.S. and Patti Foos Whitlaw Award to Don Cameron and the Charleston Housing Authority for its restoration of the William Enston Home, and to Horry Parker and the Vestry of the St. James Goose Creek Church for its restoration of St. James Goose Creek Church, and to George McDaniel and the Drayton Hall staff for its advocacy for the Ashley River. Jonathan Poston's book, The Buildings of Charleston, is presented. Paul Goldberger sings the praises of Charleston. 1 videocassette (95 min.)
