Constructed ca. 1770. Thomas Young originally owned a lot which extended from Meeting through to Church Street. A masonry single house was begun on Meeting Street and was sold before completion to Col. Isaac Motte, an officer in the Royal Americans, 60th Regiment. The pedimented gable and tripartite window are 19th century Greek Revival alterations.
