Constructed 1740; altered 1850s. This typical Charleston single house built in 1740 was altered in the 19th century to a double-parlor plan with parlor doors opening onto a central passageway. The 3-story house with fine Georgian interior woodwork also has an addition of a mid-19th century Greek Revival parapet.
