Gregorie Tablespoons 98.1.1 Silver Tablespoon Made By Hester Bateman, London 1786-87. Marked with Lion Passant Guardant, Head of George III in Oval, London Leopard's Head Crowned The monogram "JMCG" on the spoon undoubtedly represents the initials of James and Mary Christiana Gregorie. Mary Christiana Gregorie nee Hopton was the sister of Mrs. Nathaniel Russell and the aunt of Alicia Hopton Russell Middleton.
