Gaming box Canton, China Foochow Period, probably FanTan, c. 1830 Laquer with gilt Oblong Box with Clipped Corners, Shaped To and Two Brass Handles. Completely Lacquered with Black Ground and Gilt Decoration of Chinoiserie Figures with Panels. Drawer on Bottom Opens To Reveal Compartments with Center Section with Decorated Lid. Fitted Interior Tray with Compartments and Fitted Boxes.
