Property was originally a cotton warehouse but had been vacant and in poor condition for many years and badly damages by Hurricane Hugo, leaving nothing salvageable. Construction of the current house was completed in 1992. No additional history on file. Needs further research. File contains FOHG house history (2001); brief house history and room descriptions (The Designer Showhouse 1992). No image on file.
