Pole Fire Screen, Wooden, with Painted Chinoiserie Gilt Decoration, Regency Style, English C. 1810. Lacquered Screen on Pole Stand with Square Pole on Tripod Base with Scroll Ends and Ball Feet. Solid Connection Stretcher. Screen Consisits of Two Panels Placed Together - Rectangular with Clipped Corners. Panels Are Pierced with Two Holes Through Which Gilded Cord with Weight Runs. the Entire Piece Painted Black. Gilt Lines and Leaf Decoration on Base. Exterior Panel Finely Painted with Two Chinoiserie Figures in Landscape. Interior Panels Painted with Chinoiserie Building.Collection
