The SC Ports Authority commissioned this Plan to identify a redevelopment strategy for 65 acres of prime waterfront on the Cooper River, the location of 3 centuries of port activity adjacent to the city's historic district. A number of individuals and firms contributed: South Carolina State Ports Authority, The City of Charleston, Ehrenkrantz & Eckstut Architects, Vickerman Zachary Miller, Arthur Andersen & Co., Thomas & Hutton Engineering, Travers Associates, Ray Huff Architects, Arthur Ziegler.
