NEW.005-7.1Scope and Content
5 New Street was constructed between 1914-1918. A 2½-story side-hall single-plan stuccoed brick house with hipped roof and projecting hipped dormer. 7 New Street is presently a vacant lot. Some time between 1898 and 1902, a two-story wooden structure existed but it was removed in 1979.
File contains graduate student report (Katherine Ferguson, 2010) on the history of the houses, which includes historical and chain-of-title research, maps, plats, photos, and other supporting documentation.
